This exquisite 49.8% vol from 2020 blends famously rugged Laphroaig flavours with a mellow sweetness after a quarter of a century in ex-Bourbon casks and barrels once filled with Oloroso sherry.
The whisky is extracted, filtered, and bottled at its natural strength creating an experience equivalent to tasting it at the source – after maturing first. A remarkably smooth mouthfeel is enabled by the full-bodied and well-rounded, flavours of peat smoke and spice balanced by vanilla and apple gliding over the palate.
