White Heather 15-year-old delivers exceptional balance between honeyed sweetness and subtle peat smoke. Undertaking a complex dual maturation system in American and Spanish Oak, experienced Master Blender Billy Walker frequently monitored the spirit development to ensure optimal flavor experience was achieved.
47% Malt Whisky (20% from Speyside, 23% from North Highland, 4% from Islay)
53% Grian Whisky
Matured for 12 years in a combination of Sherry Butts, 1st Fill American Barrels, and 2nd fill Barrels & Hogsheads.
Married together, then laid down in PX Puncheons, Oloroso Puncheons, and American Virgin Oak (Medium Toast, Medium Char).
Color: Golden Bronze.
Nose: Waves of heather honey and butterscotch, followed by orange peel, pineapple, mint, and a hint of peat.
Taste: Layers of treacle, heather honey, and butterscotch, followed by orange peel, grapefrui,t and almonds; with mocha, ginger, and a light wisp of peaty smoke on the finish.

Have Been Told White Heather Is Pretty Good
I've never tasted White Heather, but I send it to a friend of mine who is a scotch/whisky drinker. He tells me its pretty good, as good as JW Blue Label in his opinion. I trust he's not exaggerating.
