Palate: Crisp and finely rounded, with the sweetness to balance an appetising dryness.
Finish: Notes of tropical fruit, raisins and vanilla persist.
Balance: Oaky vanilla tones/dry sweetness

St. David's Day Celebration
Posted by Unknown on 1st Mar 2021
We wanted to find Penderyn whisky for our St. David's Day celebration this year and it was hard to do because it is no longer available from our state liquor dispensary. So I was glad to find it from The Whisky Shop. We taste tested the three versions of single malt, and our unsophisticated palates chose the Rich Oak. For tonight! But of course we will be repeating the taste test.
