On the nose, loads of vanilla cream custard as the sweetness is intense initially but the oak and spice follow with a cedar wood and pencil shaving character offering depth and complexity.
The palate suggests dried banana chips coated in honey with a building sweet and spicy impression of candied ginger, nutmeg and cardamom.
The finish delivers a more citrus let character with lemon honey shortbread and a deliciously moreish peppered lime character.
Tasting Notes: Honeysuckle, lemon peel, almonds.
