Product Description
This epic bottling of Catoctin Creek from Barrel & Bottle is easily one of the best pours in the store for making an Old Fashioned (although it's great and complex sipper on its own too!). The spicy Virginia rye is beautifully sweetened up by a full year of finishing in a Copper & Kings Orange Curacao barrel. Deep amber in color and just the right combination of sweet fruit and spice forward rye. It drinks well beyond its modest age having been distilled on 4/24/18 and rebarreled in the curacao cask exactly 2 years later for an additional year of finishing. Bottled unchillfiltered and at cask strength.
