Product Description
Our Straight Wheat Whiskey is mashed from 100% organic red winter wheat grown in the Sacramento valley. Always aged in full size American charred oak barrels – this incredible whiskey is welcoming with familiarity from the wheat yet surprisingly complex. Aged a minimum of 4 years.
Nose: Butterscotch and tobacco.
Palate: Graham cracker, caramelized sugar, sweet tea, and toasted walnut.
Finish: Cocoa nib, vanilla, stone fruit.
750mL, 45% ABV.

spirit works distillery straight wheat whiskey
tastes like bourbon. i am not a distiller so i do not know why distillers do not trust their wheat whiskies to have the subtle flavors and sweetness of wheat. i wanted to go with the local guys but i am disappointed that this whiskey is not more wheat-like. too many other grains in the mash bill.
