I first tasted Connemara whisky on a trip to Germany when the bartender who had been looking after me all week gave me a glass on the house. Being a Scotch whisky fan I scoffed at first that an Irish whisky could match up. However, I really liked it and so decided to step up and pay the extra for this 12 year old version that incidentally I have not seen anywhere other than at The Whisky Shop. I absolutely love it, I usually go for Laphraoig, Lagavulin or Ardbeg Uiegadail but Connemara 12 year old is my new go-to Peaty Whisky. Thank you Whisky Shop for carrying this amazing whisky!
