A significant milestone for the Wolfburn distillery – this 10-year-old single malt is its first permanent age statement release. The whisky spent its full maturation in second-fill oloroso sherry casks resulting in a sumptuously sweet, fruit-laden profile, backed by dense oak and silky caramel.

Wonderfully Aged
I first tasted Wolfburn shortly after their 1st release at a Whisky Fest in Chicago. The distillery rep was almost lonely as many were concentrating on the "more known" whiskies being offered that day. It was superb as a 3 year old and this 10 year old is equally superb. Fragrant nose, soft mouth and a magnificent finish. Buttery with hints of caramel. Reminds me of my mother's apple pie. Peppery at time also. I love it.
