Product Description
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a world-renowned institution, and ours is born from long- term relationships with four top-quality vineyards throughout the region. Hailing from the cooler Coombsville regions, the warmer St. Helena, the mountainous Mount Veeder, and the valley floor Rutherford, the fruit we source for this bottling produces a bright and complex blend that reflects all the best elements of Napa. We finish the wine with small percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot to deliver the best complexity and balance.
- Aging
- 10 months in a combination of 98% French oak and 2% American oak.
Tasting Notes
The deep purple color of the wine extends all the way to the rim of the glass and gives way to an explosive nose that is the essence of Napa Valley, black fruit, dark cocoa, coffee and deep plum. The wine is thick, rich and full on the palate with beautiful balance between fruit, tannin, acidity, oak and alcohol. The flavors of chocolate, blackberry, bay laurel and sweet French oak penetrate the palate and last for minutes. There is strength and power but constrained with bright acidity, fruit and just the right amount of balancing tannin. The wine is savory and chewy as well as bright and vibrant.
750mL, 14% ABV.
