Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt
Matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks, vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown.
Nose: A distinct buttery note and characteristic hint of sea salt introduce this dram, along with notes of ginger loaf and pecan pie.
Palate: Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crystallised brown sugar on the palate, with a subtle hint of peat smoke.
Finish: The peat smoke builds in the finish, with a leathery note developing over time.

Campbeltown Roulette
The bottles I purchased seem to be more heavily sherry-influenced than pas batches. BTW, it seems that the enjoyment of this blend has gained velocity, but also consider how much the batch variations may affect the final product. This batch is showing some promise (!), and it will be interesting to see how it evolves working down the bottle. Interesting to note the color change over previous batches (much darker than the bottle pictured). Still, without saying it on the label, most folks seem to feel that this blend is not colored, or chill-filtered.
