Friday, September 3rd, 3-4PM: Whitley Neill Gin
A treat for mixologists & gin lovers! Whitley Neill Gin is a premium handcrafted artisanal gin range and an established English brand dating back to 1762. Derived from exotic botanicals like baobab fruit and cape gooseberries, their  extensive line of spirits includes flavors like rhubarb & ginger, blackberry, quince, and more. They boast 65 medals won across the range of Gins, including 4 Double Golds & 5 Golds at IWSC and 6 Golds at SFWSC and 3 Spirits Business Gin Masters..
 
Saturday, September 4th, 1-4PM: Limited Tasting: Bhakta 50
The Whisky Shop is honored to present this tasting of Bhakta 50, our oldest and rarest spirits yet! From Raj Peter Bhakta, founder of WhistlePig Whiskey and now Bhakta Brandy, comes the exclusive Bhakta 50 line - an expert blend of the oldest spirits on the market, finished in Islay for the whisky lover’s palate. Each release contains eight different vintages, with 1868 as the oldest, and 1970 as the youngest. 153 years of history - kissed by Islay casks to provide a subtle smoky intrigue for the whisky lover. A very limited amount of samples will be available during this event, poured on a first-come, first-serve basis.
 
Saturday, September 11th, 10AM-4PM: Mystery Single Malt with Sam Filmus
Master of all things Scotch and guiding light of JVS Imports, our friend Sam Filmus returns to The Whisky Shop with a selection of world-class single malt! Sam Filmus' previous tastings have included store favorites, new releases, and rare single-cask expressions, and his knowledge of the whisky world is world-class. Whether you’re looking for a unique new scotch experience or simply thirsty for a taste of whisky, this tasting is sure to delight and surprise.
 
Saturday, September 18th, 12PM-4PM: Sagamore Rye
Taste Sagamore Spirit Rye at our expert presented whiskey tasting! Both Rye fans and newcomers to the world of American whiskey will find something to enjoy among Sagamore Spirit's expressions.Proudly considered 'Bourbon's Older Brother," Sagamore's whiskies have been highly reviewed since release, earning Double Gold at the San Francisco Spirits Competition among many accolades.
 
Saturday, September 25th, 12-5PM: Scotch Tasting: GlenDronach with Rory Glasgow
Established in 1826, Highland distillery GlenDronach was one of the very first licensed distilleries in Scotland. The award-winning GlenDronach range marries the best of Highland and Spanish skill and heritage to offer whiskies of elegant, complex character and tremendous depth of taste. Masters of Sherry Maturation, Glendronach scotches are recognized for their deep color and rich flavor profiles, ranging from sweet fruity Pedro Ximenez sourced single malts, to the dry and nutty Olorosso expressions.
 
Saturday, October 2nd, 12-4PM: Scotch Tasting: Glengoyne
Established in 1833, Highland distillery Glengoyne creates wonderful, award-winning drams through Scotland's slowest distillation. Their unhurried approach to whisky begins with exclusively air-dried barley, never heated or peated, contributing to the whisky's smooth, sweet taste. Discover the whiskys yourself at this expert presented tasting. We'll have a variety of Glengoyne's award winning drams poured just for you!
 

Thursday, October 7th 3-6PM: Scotch Tasting: Single Cask Nation

Anyone who wishes to know more about the greater world of whisky and independent bottling is sure to enjoy this tasting! Established in 2011, independent bottlers Single Cask Nation have faithfully dedicated themselves to selecting and bottling the world’s finest and rarest single casks of whisky. Their highly rated bottlings include Laphroaig, Glenmoray, and Catoctin Creek, to name only a few.

Saturday, October 23rd, 1-5PM: Glenglassaugh with Rory Glasgow
Situated on the banks of Sandend Bay, Highland Distillery Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875 and continues to use traditional small-scale distilling practices to this day. They contributed to many well-liked Highland whiskey blends (including Famous Grouse and Lang’s) before producing their own aged statement whiskies in 2008. They’ve gone on to receive numerous awards for themselves since, the most recent being two Gold awards at the 2019 International Wine and Spirits Competition for their signature expressions.
 
Saturday, October 9 12-5PM: Single Malt Tasting: Highland Park
Highland Park whisky is made with pride, integrity and fierce independence, passed down from the distillery’s Viking ancestors to today. The Orkney distillery is known for striking bottlings and hard-to-find releases and has received high honors at the World Whiskies Awards, Scotch Whisky Master Awards, and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition among many others.

Each Glenrothes whisky is produced not in according to an age statement, but by vintage - each release encapsulates a single particular year's worth of whisky that has reached its peak of maturity, character and flavor.
