Please join Jennifer Wren, Single Malt Specialist, in a guided history and tasting of The Dalmore Single Malt Scotch whisky.
Jennifer will discuss The Dalmore’s brand history and explore 45 Years of The Dalmore – The Dalmore 12 Year Old, 15 Year old & 18 Year Old - in an hour long masterclass. These three expressions are the perfect embodiment of The Dalmore’s high standards of whisky production, utilizing some of the rarest sherry casks in the world. Following the tasting, Ms. Wren will open up the discussion for a lively Q&A session.
About The Dalmore
The Distillery: The Dalmore was established in 1839 on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. The distillery has a 180-year history of crafting rich, well-aged malt whisky.
Exquisite Cask Curation: Partnerships with the finest bodegas allow The Dalmore to maintain on-going access to rare and aged Sherry casks, including those used for The 30-Year Old Matusalem Oloroso. Exquisite cask curation dictates everything we do.
A Royal Heritage: The Dalmore boasts a royal heritage stretching back to 1263, when Mackenzie of Kintail saved King Alexander III from a charging stag. In gratitude, Mackenzie was gifted the symbol of the 12-point stag to use on his family crest. Centuries later, in 1867, the Mackenzies took control of The Dalmore, lending that noble symbol to the distillery.
