Product Description
Distilled from clear wort in the summer of 2006, with a slow distillation regime, very high and narrow cut points collecting the lightest most delicate flavors from the barley malt.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with freshly baked Victoria sponge, curry leaves and cinder toffee, with tinned peaches and warm gorse flower developing with time in the glass. These notes continue onto the palate, but are joined by lemon zest, molten honey on toast, marmalade and vanilla pods, with wood polish and marzipan appearing on the back palate. On the finish, waves of honey and spicy oak linger, with fruit-salad chews appearing after a minute or so. This is an excellent dram for a warm summer’s day.
